A meal plan is a big part of staying on a certain diet. If you don't eat the right kinds of foods specific to your dietary needs, you could end up unhealthy with an insufficient dietary needs. A lactose free diet restricts dairy and other foods with lactose ingredients.
Breakfast:
- Soy milk
- Cereal (with soy milk or no milk)
- Fresh fruits (strawberries, bananas, pineapple, oranges, kiwi)
- Fruit/Green smoothies (with lactose free yogurt or no yogurt)
- Eggs (no milk)
- Lunch meats (turkey, ham, tuna, roast beef)
- Pasta/noodles
- Salad dressing (check labels to make sure)
- Fresh veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, soybeans)
Dinner:
- Fresh veggies (lettuce, carrots, cucumber, tomato)
- Fresh meat (steak, pork, fish)
- Pasta/noodles
- Water based soups (chicken noodle soup, corn chowder, lentil soup)
Snacks:
- Nuts (peanuts, cashews, almonds)
- Peas/beans
- Peanut butter and celery
- Saltines
- Whole grain crackers
